Bill began his singing career as a soloist for a church to help pay for college. After graduating with a B.A. in voice from Cal Poly, he joined the a cappella jazz group, “Eight to the Bar”, who were regular performers at “Fellini's” in Hollywood. Shortly thereafter, Bill joined the national champion Hennessey Jazz Search winning a cappella quartet, “Terra Nova”, who performed at many clubs and jazz festivals, including the “Playboy Jazz Festival”. Around the same time, Bill joined the barbershop quartet, “The Nickelodeon” who sang full time at the “Queen Mary” in Long Beach. The group is still together some seventeen years later, singing on several television spots including, “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno“, “The King of Queens” and “Arrested Development” to name a few. In the early ‘90's Bill joined the classic 50's band, “The Diamonds”, singing bass, as well as finding time to do an album and brief tour with David Byrne. After several years of “life on the road” with the Diamonds, he got road weary and left the group, still performing with them as their “sub.” Bill is also currently performing with the 50's through 70's group, “Daddy Cool”, he is still a soloist for a church in Studio City, as well as a session singer for several commercials and movie soundtracks.
