David Allen Jones , a member of Actors' Equity Association since 1969, played the Apostle Andrew in Jesus Christ Superstar on Broadway, and Pilate in the National Tour. Some regional theatre performances include Mr. Fezziwig in A Christmas Carol (Geva Theatre Center), Gaston in Picasso at the Lapin Agile , Doolittle in My Fair Lady (PCPA Theaterfest),Scrooge in A Christmas Carol (International City Theatre), Krapp in Krapp's Last Tape, Elyot in Private Lives , Saunders in Lend Me a Tenor , Mr. Zero in The Adding Machine (critic's choice for outstanding performance and best play), Lloyd in Noises Off , Friar Laurence in Romeo & Juliet , Father Farley in Mass Appeal , Whiteside in The Man Who Came to Dinner (named one of the best productions of the year), Sidney in Deathtrap , Felix in The Odd Couple , Harry Berlin in Luv , Charles Condomine in Blithe Spirit , George in Same Time, Next Year , Claudius in Hamlet , Barney in Last of the Red Hot Lovers , and Candy in Of Mice and Men (all for Grove Theater Center). Other California appearances include Doolittle in My Fair Lady (Saddleback CLO), Mr. Applegate in Damn Yankees and Clifton Feddington in 1940's Radio Hour (Fullerton CLO), Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof (CLO South Bay Cities), Max in Sound of Music (Long Beach Civic Light Opera), Bela Zangler in Crazy for You and Jacob & Potiphar in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Santa Barbara CLO), Fagin in Oliver!, Honoré in Gigi, and Captain in Dames at Sea (critic's award) (Welk Resort), Eddie in Conversations With My Father , Greg in Sylvia (Columbia Actors' Repertory) and multiple recurring roles on General Hospital .
