MUSICAL THEATER/OPERA
California: Favorite shows include Verdi's Macbeth with Independent Opera Company, Funny Girl with the Downey Civic Light Opera, South Pacific at Sierra Repertory Theater, The King and I at San Gabriel Valley Music Theatre and Stop the World I Want to Get Off at the Redondo Beach Playhouse. Massachusetts : She has also appeared in productions of Nine , Bat Boy , South Pacific and Pal Joey in the Greater Boston area.
CONCERT
Jessica has performed as a soloist under the direction of Maestro Anshel Brusilow at the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas , the Eisemann Center in Richardson , TX and under the direction of Dr. Ann Howard Jones as a chorus member at Boston 's Symphony Hall. Favorite choral works include Mahler's 3 rd Symphony, Verdi's Requiem and Bernstein's Chichester Psalms.
SPECIALTY
Jessica has performed in jazz/musical theater duos in venues throughout Los Angeles, including the Geffen Playhouse, House of Blues' Foundation Room and The Charleston in Santa Monica, as well as in select burlesque shows at Circus Disco and Café Club Fais Do Do.
EDUCATION
Jessica graduated Summa Cum Laude from Boston University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance and studied with Dr. Sarah Arneson, Phyllis Hoffman and Dr. Ann Howard Jones. Jessica has also studied and performed in international summer music festivals in Lucca , Italy with the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and in Salzburg , Austria with the University of Miami School of Music.
She currently studies voice privately with Juliana Gondek, Professor of Voice and Opera Studies at University of California Los Angeles .
In addition, Jessica has studied cold reading and audition technique at the Brian Riese Acting Studio and scene study at Lifebook Acting Academy in Los Angeles .
